Howard's End

Loved it. E. M. Forster is great. Room with the View, Where Angels Fear to Tread. He reminds me a lot of Jane Austin...I'm a bit of an anglophile, but I'm pretty greatful that I don't live in that society....whether it's in 1810 or 1910. The extreme awareness of class and money is a bit much for me. But it does drive most decisions even in 2008 United States of America, so I guess they make for good plot devices. Thanks for the recommendation ,Kathy.

Hee.

Kathy, as in, me?

I totally didnt' recommend that book to you. I recommended The Remains of the Day.

Ironically, when I saw you reviewing this book, I thought, "Dang, I hope she reads The Remains of the Day soon!"

Though it is also about class and money and whatnot. still, you will really like it a LOT and I still think you should read it.
