Canoeing

Robbin & I pulled out his canoe from Stan's property on the lake and paddled around yesterday after our flight and stop by the Vermont Maritime Museum. Robbin gets really frustrated when I call the paddle an oar of if I say I'm rowing and not paddling. We paddled into a small harbor with beaver dams and large lily pads with large flowers. We did not see any beavers but did see their handy work on the nearby trees. Perfect weather. Very picturesque. No camera. Visited with Stan & Catlina, dinner at the Country Club with Chad & Lauren, and we were in bed by 10pm. Today Chad made us breakfast, blueberry, raspberry and apple pancakes. (three varities, not one big fruit panake.) Now off to hike a small mountain.

Who else would decide to close the 2 left lanes of I-90 on Cubs game night? When Milwaukee is also all torn up? And I-94 is also still under repair?
Meh.

The Shield

How did I miss this show? Robbin started tivoing it...or the tivo thought Robbin would like it...and I suddenly am obsessed with the show, just in time for the final season. I'm completely torn between my 2 favorite cops, Dutch & Lem. I want them both to have more interesting stories & screen time. And I wish Shane would just go away. But Walter Goggins does an amazing job showing how someone can rationalize such behavior.

I'm going to skip the entry about why I haven't been blogging. It's over done. You can see that on anyone's blog. oops. I just did it.
