We had a PEO fundraiser last night. I'm not sure how much $ we raised, but it was fun. It was a silent auction. I won a pot of flowers and a book to explain to me what these flowers are and how to care for them. I bid for my mother as well and won her a book lover's basket with Jon Grisham's latest as well as Lisa See's new book. I met my friends Carolyn and Lelia's husbands for the first time but Robbin couldn't be there which I was pretty disappointed about.
I'm watching a tivoed episode of 21 Jump Street right now.....with guest stars of Jason Preistley, Pauley Shore, and the oldest brother from Mr. Belvidere....so far the message is don't drink and drive. Even wine.

Did I ever tell you that I met the older brother from Mr. Belvedere while I was working at Kinko's?
Really? When? Are you sure it was him?
And, more importantly, was he still considering converting to Amishism for a girl?
It was when I was working at a Kinko's in Sterling, VA. At first i wasn't 100% positive it was him, even though it looked EXACTLY like him from 10 years before. When he went to pay i was able to make sure because the name on the credit card was the right name (even though I couldn't tell you now that that name is).
Now I can't say anything about a conversion to Amishism, but he was wearing normal clothes and no funky beard, so I would assume the answer was no.
He was there as a sports writer, sending in his work via a laptop station. that might also perturb the Amish.
