apple to avocado

Last week Gus was an apple, this week an avocado. She's created a distinctive but small bump in my abdomen. Aside from that though, she's really a lot less trouble than she used to be. There's no more morning sickness, not nearly as much exhaustion.

We enjoyed the "Best of Augusta" last night, held at the Discovery Center downtown. All the winners from the Augusta Magazine survey for Best brunch, Best Romantic Restaurant, Best Dessert, and many other categories were there with small samples. Something that I thought was odd though was not everyone was serving their "best." A pizza place that won for best dine in pizza had artichoke dip, chips and meatballs.

We did find a new ice cream place, Bruster's. The served some amazing pumpkin spice ice cream. We also found a "green" cleaning supply store which sells everything from dishwasher soap to water bottles. They gave us a samples of some all purpose cleaner to try out. The store is in Evans, a bit far but I'll check it out soon.
