Robbin spent lots of time with the kids, he went down to sledding with them while I was feeling ill and another day he took Donny on a "hunt" through Grandma's "woods". Donny informed Robbin that they could kill Bambi's father but not Bambi or his mother. When Robbin asked what they would kill the buck with if they found him, Donny thought about it and said, "you'll punch him in the face."
Jack is doing really well. He's a little behind for a 1 year old but doing really well for a 9 mos old; which is what should be expected. I realized that calendar-wize her pregnancy with him and mine matched up perfectly. Meaning she gave birth on January 1 at 28 weeks pregnant, exactly where Gus and I are 1 year later. He's totally thriving though and is a very happy baby who laughs a lot, enjoys the attention of his brothers and sister, and seems to really want to crawl, but gives up and rolls anywhere he wants to go.
While we were in NY, it snowed in Augusta and I wish we had been able to get a photograph of our house with snow on it. Our Christmas tree held up very well while we were gone for 11 days. It held up so well, I feel bad taking it down tomorrow. But I really can't argue that Christmas should last past January 6th. I'm not sure if we're going to put the tree on the curb or keep for fire wood.
I couldn't be in Chicago, but I sent gifts for my family. For my extended family I made large Santa Bags for every family unit. I thought of the idea last year when the everyone seemed to struggle getting things to the car. I hear they were a hit and I hope they last for the years to come.
